Uttarakhand tunnel rescue operation was successful.
The rat-hole miners did their magic in less than 24 hours which was looking difficult with the new age machines. they started removing the debris on Monday at around 6pm.
12 rat-hole miners and 12 meters of debris and 41 lives were saved in tunnel rescue operation.
On Tuesday 7:05 Pm the last rock was removed standing between the workers and the light. ‘it’s Diwali for us’ they said.

Personnel from the National Disaster Response Force, or NDRF, had gone down the pipe first to assess the condition of the trapped men and guide them through rescue protocols. Each worker was strapped to the stretcher that was then manually pulled up through 60 metres of rock and debris.
